This reading compares two birth charts: where the Sun, Moon and planets were when each of you was born, and how those positions meet. It describes how you may communicate, show affection and handle differences, with room for both perspectives.

How two birth charts relate is one of astrology's oldest questions. Ptolemy compared the Sun and Moon of a couple in the Tetrabiblos (IV.5); modern astrologers added the angles between the two charts and the houses each person's planets fall into.

The shape of your connection

Compatibility score: 59 out of 100. There are clear strengths and areas to work on, the usual pattern of a living relationship.

Behind this reading
  • What went into it: Emotional closeness 58; Attraction 76; Understanding 49; Shared values 60; Stability 50.

Gemini and Scorpio have little in common, so your basic natures may need regular adjusting. What seems obvious to one of you may need explaining to the other. Air with water: thinking meeting feeling. One wants to understand, the other to feel understood, and putting feelings into words helps both.

Behind this reading
  • Your Sun in Gemini, Daniel's Sun in Scorpio: five signs apart, a quincunx. Elements: air and water.

Your emotional worlds sit in opposite signs, Cancer and Capricorn. Each of you may find in the other a side that comes less naturally to you, which can draw you together and also pull you apart. Earth with water: care, loyalty and a feeling of home. Small, steady gestures tend to mean a lot here.

Behind this reading
  • Your Moon in Cancer, Daniel's Moon in Capricorn: opposite signs. Elements: water and earth.

Cancer and Scorpio share an element, and your feelings and Daniel's sense of purpose tend to understand each other with few words. Ptolemy counted pairings like this among the signs of agreement. Water with water: a deep emotional bond. The risk is sinking into the same mood at the same time.

Behind this reading
  • Your Moon in Cancer, Daniel's Sun in Scorpio: four signs apart, a trine within one element. Elements: water and water.

Your affection and Daniel's drive sit in the same sign, Gemini. You may recognize each other quickly, down to the same habits. The catch is that you can share the same blind spots too. Air with air: long conversations, shared interests and plenty of room. Feelings deserve airtime too, not only ideas.

Behind this reading
  • Your Venus in Gemini, Daniel's Mars in Gemini: the same sign. Elements: air and air.

Taken together

A chart comparison isn't a grade. It's a map of where things are likely to feel easy and where they'll need attention; the route is yours to choose.

Behind this reading
  • A conclusion drawn from the whole picture, not from one position.
How this reading is made

Step 1. Signs. Sun with Sun, Moon with Moon, and the lights across the two charts, compared by the distance between their signs (the same sign, a sextile, square, trine or opposition) and by their elements.

Step 2. Contacts. The angles between the planets of one chart and the planets of the other. Contacts of the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars and the Ascendant count most, and exact angles more than wide ones.

Step 3. Houses. Which of the other person's houses your planets fall into, and the other way round: the areas of life where you're likely to notice each other most.

Step 4. Scores. For each theme (emotional closeness, attraction, understanding, shared values, stability) the contacts are added up: easy angles add, tense ones usually subtract, and for attraction tension counts as spark. A score shows the pattern of two charts by traditional rules. It isn't the chance that a relationship will work.

Step 5. Writing. The features are matched to texts written in advance and assembled by fixed rules. No AI writes the reading when you open it, and the same two charts always give the same text.

This reading describes two charts in the symbolic language of astrology. It doesn't predict how a relationship will go, and it's no basis for decisions about commitment, breaking up, or whether to trust someone.
